Focusing is a mind/body healing technique developed by Dr. Eugene Gendlin and is used by practitioners for inner healing, psychotherapy and community well-being. It is a simple body technique that is fully human and found in many traditional cultures around the globe. We find that it is also a way of being in the world that lets us be fully present in the moment and to be aware of our emotional reactions to events and people around us. Focusing also allows us to be grounded and aware in our bodies so that we can learn how to be at peace.
